    Discovery Air Technical Services (DATS) is a Transport Canada Approved Maintenance Organization (AMO 23-10)  with a wide range of capabilities. We are authorized to perform maintenance and modifications on all U.S. registered aircraft as listed in the U.S./Canada bilateral agreement (Ref. CFR 43.17) and under EASA 145 (European Aviation Safety Agency).

... that one of Discovery Air Technical Services’ employees, Étienne Dumas Gilbert, took part in the 17th Skills Canada National Competition for Trades and Technologies? June 1st to 4th, over 500 competitors gathered in Quebec City for the only national, Olympic-style, multi-trade and technology competition for young students and apprentices in the country. Gilbert finished in 3rd place in the aircraft maintenance category.

... that an article from the Nassau Guardian on January 27, 2011, Reduced Maintnenace Costs for SkyBahamas, by Jammal Smith, discusses DATS' role in reducing SkyBahamas' maintenance expenditures? According to SkyBahamas President, Randy Butler, their partnership with DATS has paid off immensely, allowing the airline to reduce its near $2 million maintenance budget by 20-30 percent.
